Provenance before interpretation
The first question is whether the object, clip, report, or testimony has a traceable origin. A source with custody, timestamps, sensor context, and institutional publication details can be audited; a reposted clip cannot carry the same confidence.
Unresolved is a data state
A case can remain unresolved because metadata is missing, collection geometry is poor, or calibration is unavailable. That state is important, but it does not automatically imply extraordinary origin.
Independent review changes the claim
A stronger package allows outsiders to test mundane hypotheses, inspect raw or minimally processed data, and reproduce the reasoning path. The interface should reward that auditability.
