A historic example of laser signaling across interplanetary distance
Contact Protocols / protocol
Galileo optical experiment
GOPEX is a compact reminder that laser-based signaling across space has already been demonstrated experimentally in the Solar System.
Contact Protocols1996
A historic example of laser signaling across interplanetary distance
It helps ground contact talk in the history of working optics.
Key points
